If you can provide expert contributions and advice on property management across a small yet complex public sector property portfolio and are looking for a new challenge, then this is the role for you.



This is a great chance to use your creativity and experience to help lead Ryedale District Council to develop strategic plans for the Council’s property and facilities, and manage all aspects of the day-to-day work associated with the portfolio.  You will use your forwarding thinking attitude and progressive vision to develop a strategy for our assets, as well as drive the delivery of the annual preventative and reactive maintenance programme and provide the Council with professional and technical advice and expertise on a range of properties, land and assets including operational sites, tenant facilities, car parks, open spaces and village greens.



This is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering an extensive programme of activities to ensure all Council owned facilities and assets are safe and compliant, meeting all regulatory requirements and proactively identify and progress development opportunities to maximise the benefit of the assets to support economic development within Ryedale, support council objectives and drive income streams.  You will act as the principal source of advice, guidance and expertise in all property-related matters and will be responsible for the management and maintenance of buildings, plant, equipment and services ensuring thorough electronic auditable records are maintained.
