Salary: Up to £35, 745 plus possible relocation allowance & generous mileage allowance

Location: County-wide (base negotiable)

We are looking to appoint two Quality, Transformation & Delivery Registered Managers, who will help us lead and further transform directly provided Adult Social Care Services.

Whilst the opportunity is countywide, we will look to base you in the operations that are closest to your home and offer flexible working arrangements where possible. You may however be required at times to step to support wider services and assist with workforce development, transformation with a view to be constantly improving and adapting practice and service.

It is an exciting time to joins us; we are about to embark on a transformation programme that sees us adapt the way we work to rise to the challenges of social care. You will be an instrumental part of shaping and delivering transformation.

As a quality, transformation & delivery registered manager you will working across a diverse group of registered services including care and support hubs, older people’s services and Learning disability short break services. Providing a positive example of good practice and supporting services and teams to ensure services support people to be the best they can possibly be. You will lead, mentor and develop a dedicated team of support workers to achieve our vision, ensuring people live longer, healthier, independent lives and that your service complies with both the Care Quality Commission regulated activities as well as NYCC policies and procedures. You will have responsibility for ensuring that the direct care and support provided is safe, effective, responsive, caring, well led and compliant.

A key part of your role will involve ensuring that your service is person centred and that staff support people to meet their personal outcomes, putting our resident's rights and wishes at the forefront of their work. Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive service improvement and sharing knowledge of best practice with other managers will also be key to your success.

To be successful you will have extensive experience of working in care settings and managing staff, with previous Registered Manager experience You will need to demonstrate that you are flexible and can adapt quickly to diverse services in a range of settings and can step in and provide leadership and governance as you will have responsibility for ensuring that the direct care and support provided is safe, effective, responsive, caring, well led and compliant.

You will ideally have a Registered Manager qualification or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care but as a minimum, you must have level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Care and a commitment to achieving the manager/leadership qualification with us within 12 months. You will also require registration with Care Quality Commission (CQC), and will need to undertake a successful interview process with them to achieve registration as a “fit and proper” person to manage registered services as well as an enhanced DBS check.
