Required for September 2021:
Instrumental Instructors to teach in NYCC Primary and Secondary Schools working with children in small group and individual settings. Pay as per STPCD (unqualified pay spine) dependant on experience and qualifications.

Vacancies are available in the following instrumental disciplines:
BRASS: 10 hours per week.
GUITAR: 15 hours per week.
PERCUSSION: 10 hours per week.
PIANO/KEYBOARD: 15 hours per week.
STRINGS: 7 hours per week.

The successful candidates will be part of a large team of enthusiastic and dynamic teachers working in schools across the idyllic North Yorkshire region as part of the North Yorkshire Music Hub. Travel expenses will be paid at 42p per mile and travel time is also payable between schools.

At interview candidates will be required to perform a short unaccompanied piece on their chosen instrument and also perform a sight reading test of approx. Grade 5 standard.
