33 hours per week over 5 days (term time only)  

Part-time applicants welcomed and applicants that might be interested in combining a part-time Instructor role with a pupil support role.


SALARY 

£24,982 - £27,741 FTE

£19,059 - £21,164 pro rata for 33 hours

Are you an Instructor committed to improving the lives of children and young people?

Craven Pupil Referral Service is a small school of just 23 pupils based on the outskirts of Skipton that provides high quality education for young people who have been excluded, or are in danger of exclusion, from mainstream school.

We are looking for experienced instructors of vocational and practical subjects to join our fantastic team at Craven PRS. As an Instructor, you will deliver fun based learning and recognised accredited training to pupils according to their educational needs, in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.

Term-time only including training days.

We are looking for people with:

·         Extensive knowledge of the relevant subject area

·         Industry based or practical experience in the relevant subject area

·         Degree qualified or level 5 equivalent qualification

·         Excellent working relationships with children and young people

·         Empathy with and understanding of children and young people who have had negative experiences in education

·         A sense of humour and the skills and desire to be a strong team player
