The Abbey Residential Home in Old Malton, are currently looking for passionate care assistants, who want to help its residents live fulfilling and happy lives. Working within a team which pulls together to support one another, this is your chance to work in a friendly and homely environment, while getting to know the unique and vibrant characters who call The Abbey Home.

The Abbey is a home that will ensure that any needs a resident may have are met. While it is predominantly a residential home, The Abbey also deals with residents requiring palliative and more specialised care. Dignity and respect are at the heart of everything they do.

As a Care Assistant you will be on hand to help the residents on a daily basis. From waking up on a morning, to going to bed on a night you will be a constant in their lives, and will put their trust in you to care and respect them. The Abbey is passionate about its resident’s wellbeing, and has feels like a family home that is warm and welcoming.
 
Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in the care sector, however it is the passion and commitment to care that is of paramount importance. The Abbey are intent on encouraging and supporting you to follow your career ambitions and will equip you with the knowledge to succeed in care.
