What experience/qualifications do I need?
You do not need specific experience or qualifications to be able to start your career in care. If you are caring and compassionate and willing to get stuck in, we will have a role for you. To be a success you will be eager to learn and have the ability to deliver vital care and support to those in need. All relevant training and support will often be provided by your employer to support your development and start your career journey in care. If you are interested, most employers offer you the opportunity to study towards social care qualifications such as level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care once you have started in the role. The role will require you to hold a full driving license.

Work can take place in a variety of settings, residential care facilities (Care Homes), respite care (Day Care Centres), care in peoples own homes, and out in the community, so whether you are someone who likes to be out and about or whether you would prefer to be in one place, we have something for you!
We operate 24 / 7 and can therefore consider availability for a variety of hours and times...

If you have not had a full course of the vaccination at the moment you can still apply, but in line with new legislation you will need to be committed to and show evidence of your first dose by the 16th September 2021, and your second dose by the 11th November 2021. Employment beyond this date cannot continue without appropriate COVID-19 vaccination. Alternatively, if you are medically/clinically exempt from receiving the vaccine you will need to provide evidence of this.
