Our school is growing! We are looking to increase our number of classes and teachers from September 2022 as we work within our strong team to provide high quality learning and development for all our children. Over 2021-22 we have established a new Senior Leadership Team and from September 2022 we are adding an additional class to our school structure.
Inspired by the words of Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before others that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven,” our vision is to enable each child to grow into the unique person God created them to be, within the fellowship of our school and the wider world.
We are seeking to appoint inspiring, talented and enthusiastic teachers to join our dedicated and friendly team from September 2022. We are proud to be a member of the STAR Multi-Academy Trust. The successful candidates will have class responsibility and will work within our curriculum teams. These posts would suit creative, committed and flexible teachers with a secure knowledge of the primary curriculum, excellent classroom practice and high expectations for the children and themselves as practitioners.
We welcome applications from both experienced and Early Career Teachers. As we are a large, 2 form entry school, we have flexibility around staffing and will be looking to work with the successful candidates’ strengths to deploy them in the year group that means they can best meet the needs of the children.
Our school leaders would like to hear from you if you:
want to work within a strong team to be part of a caring school with a distinctive Christian ethos
have consistently high expectations, excellent organisational skills and a commitment to your continuous professional development
have a positive approach and a good sense of humour
are able to tailor your teaching to best enable good pupil progress
would enjoy the challenge of delivering a varied and exciting curriculum with children at the heart of all you do
In return we can offer you:
- wonderful children
- a supportive team who share great ideas, celebrate successes and tackle challenges together
- a supportive Governing Body within the Star Multi Academy Trust and leadership team
- a commitment to your professional development through STAR MAT networks and providers at local and national level
If you think you have what it takes to make a difference and be a part of our team and you wish to apply for the post of Class Teacher, then you should:

The STAR MAT is committed to equality, and to making fair and equitable treatment an integral part of everything we do.
