It’s an exciting time to join us at Ryedale District Council as we undertake brining our high level of customer service and continuity into a new unitary council. Can you help in implementing new processes in the waste and environmental services?
Our ambition at RDC is to promote innovative problem solving and creative contribution to the resolution of complex problems, as well as day to day delivery of waste and environmental services. We provide professional solutions to waste and recycling projects and strive to ensure a positive outcome. You will assist in amending existing procedures and be involved in the development of new approaches, within own work area, to fit evolving needs.
The successful candidate will undertake work with the operational teams to tackle waste presentation issues and improve the cleanliness of the local environment including gathering evidence for prosecution. Additionally you will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and be an advisory point to all staff and site managers on matters relating to Council Policy and Procedures and National Policy and Guidance.
The successful applicant will join a small team of friendly and supportive colleagues.
