Are you a creative, motivating and friendly Tutor who can deliver home tuition in an exciting and inspiring way? Are you looking to help young people develop both academically and as individuals?

We are looking for Tutors who can really listen and help build empathic respectful relationships with young people who for medical reasons are unable to attend school for a temporary period of time.

You will plan and deliver Science, Maths and/or English lessons, depending on your subject specialism, to young people with different abilities with the aim of ensuring a healthy culture of learning. You will liaise with home schools surrounding the course components of the school curriculum, providing appropriate feedback and maintaining records of progress and development.

This is your chance to inspire and enthuse young people who have gaps in their learning and who have lost confidence in their ability to succeed. Our ambition is to raise their attainments and increase their resilience and self-belief and you will play an essential role in supporting this ambition.

You will have a clear understanding of your work schedule in advance and we can arrange this to suit your work life balance. You will have the opportunity to manage your own timetable to suit your needs for example if preferred you can work evening or weekends.

It will be necessary to meet the travel needs of the post and for that mileage allowance will be paid.
