We are looking for an Area Agent who will supervise the effective and efficient running of operational activities. You will manage client expectations, ensure safe site practice and cost control of projects. From site inspections to ensuring projects meet financial targets, no two days are the same as you work as part of an enthusiastic team providing highway services to keep North Yorkshire moving.
Key responsibilities
Joining a newly formed company, you’ll be able to play your part in shaping the future success our business. As Area Agent you’ll be responsible for promoting the core company values, ensuring agreed deadlines are met through efficient site working and minimal waste of materials whilst being an active support for colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have experience in highways construction with good knowledge of highway maintenance.

Qualifications and skills required
- Good communication skills
- Experience and good understanding of using NEC contracts Commitment to partnering and to a high quality service Awareness of all company operating and safety procedures
- Good understanding of quality assurance
- Working knowledge of the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works Competent IT skills and computer literacy using MS Office / Outlook / Project, financial systems (Sage or similar) and operational systems (Symology or similar)
- You must have a full UK drivers licence with the ability to travel around the county
