North Yorkshire County Council have some exciting opportunities to be part of a forward thinking Projects and Change team. The role of Senior Project Manager is to manage large scale projects from end to end. You will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders as well as being responsible for all aspects of the definition, planning and implementation of the project. You will require strong clear leadership skills and an ability to resolve challenging issues. You will have experience working in a large organisation with multiple departments and stakeholders.
The project and programmes team deliver a wide variety of technical and non-technical projects across the entire council and with partners. We are looking for senior project managers who have experience in delivering projects in areas such as Digital/Telecoms, Children and Adult Services or Corporate Services. You will be adaptable and resilient while being an influential manager of your team and project.
You will be part of a team of projects and change professionals that provides support to one another and have the flexibility to grow and develop within the role, showcasing existing skills as well as learning new talents.
Please note that one of these roles involves working with a company based in Harrogate meaning the role could be based in Harrogate but the option to work across offices would be an option.
