This is a Teaching Assistant Level 3 post with specific responsibility for Outreach and Bespoke Education. The successful applicant will work under the TA3 job description supporting pupils with complex social and emotional needs and working as part of the pupil welfare team.
They will work alongside the pupil welfare, wellbeing and regulation and behaviour leads and teams to plan and deliver support for pupils who have been identified as requiring outreach support or bespoke learning to overcome significant barriers to their engagement and participation in education. The role will involve supporting pupils off-site, within other provisions, in the community and in the home.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong understanding of the range of social and emotional needs and barriers for young people with SEND and have experience or interest in emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA).
