We are looking for a confident, customer focussed Community Link Officer to join our team in Ryedale District Council. You will ensure that Ryedale is a safe, clean and vibrant place for our people to live, work and visit. You will work in a rewarding environment supporting vulnerable customers, preventing anti-social behaviour and working with our communities to ensure Ryedale can thrive.
You will work in a multi-agency team working collaboratively with other internal and external services. You will ensure that Ryedale communities are clean and safe, whilst delivering a programme of regular checks, identifying improvements and investigating complaints. You will help support local place based working and help support the development of community plans and work with local community groups to develop local place based solutions and help with community activities and events.
We’re looking for a confident and resilient individual with a positive mind set. With sound experience in customer service and problem solving skills, you will enjoy working with people in the community. You’ll be able to develop effective working relationships across Ryedale and external agencies and also be confident working alone. You’ll have experience of working to plans and targets and have the ability to exercise good judgement whilst being proactive and creative in finding solutions.
