Wraparound School Club Supervisor

Hours per week: 12.5hrs
Rate of pay: £9.94
Fixed term: 31st August 2021 - Potential to become permanent.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated
individual to join our friendly after school club as a Wraparound School Club
Supervisor. To be successful you must have an understanding of and commitment
to the provision of good quality childcare, and have knowledge in Food safety
and Health & Safety practices. You will also have significant experience of
working with children in a play work or educational setting, have the
enthusiasm to plan, deliver and evaluate safe activities relevant to the age of
children. In addition to this, you must be able to communicate effectively with
parents and colleagues both verbally and in writing and have the ability to
work effectively with our friendly team.
Safeguarding is our number one priority and is extremely
important to us, due to this you must have a sound understanding of
safeguarding procedures. You will be required to complete a DBS which we will
meet the cost.
The hours of work are between 3:30 and 6:00pm Monday to
Friday and has the
potential to become permanent on a Term Time Basis.
Founded by Lady Mary Vyner in 1856, our school is
situated in the beautiful village of Skelton-on-Ure. We are proud of its
history and have a close relationship with the Newby Hall Estate since it
opened. We are a traditional village school benefiting from a large playing
field, climbing frames, a pond and woods; all of which are used to enhance the
learning experiences of the children and we aim to make the most of our
wonderful rural environment enabling our children to develop a love of the
outdoors and a respect for whole of the natural world.
