Head of Financial Consultancy to Schools
Grade SM1 Salary £48,000 to £55,840*
Location: County Hall, Northallerton
We are looking for a Head of Financial Consultancy to Schools to join and develop our successful Financial Management Services Team.
As Head of Financial Consultancy to Schools you will have the opportunity to lead and grow our well-respected, dedicated and professional team to continue delivering an excellent service to our existing customers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relations with our senior leaders in the Council and in Multi-Academy Trusts as well as Governors, Headteachers and School Business Managers. You will also provide drive, commercial direction and innovative thinking to develop new financial support products for the school sector and growing our customer base.
The FMS Team provides highly regarded financial support services to schools and academies. We are ambitious to further develop and expand our service offer in the changing education market within North Yorkshire and the North of England.
North Yorkshire County Council has a reputation for delivering high quality services and due to this we are delighted to have been successful in securing work with the DfE to carry out School Resource Management Reviews in schools and academy trusts in the North East and Yorkshire and Humber area which will offer a rewarding and challenging opportunity to support schools and trusts to deliver improvements. This post is offered as a full time role and is based at County Hall, Northallerton, but applicants seeking flexible working are also encouraged.
