An exciting
opportunity has arisen in the Business Support Service to support the MACE work
(Multi Agency Child Exploitation) within the Safeguarding Unit & MAST
team. This post is for an established Business Support Officer, Grade G
to work 37 hours at our office in County Hall, Northallerton.
This role would be covering a number of strategic and operational meetings per
month across the county of North Yorkshire, you would be planning, organising
and minuting meetings of a highly confidential nature and there would be
expectation to travel within this role. There will be an expectation that
you will engage with a ride range of multi-agency partners and develop an
understanding of their different roles and functions and how they contribute to
the MACE arrangements.
You would be one of the first points of contact for all agencies who attend
these meetings so good communication skills are essential. The successful
application will be well organised and flexible individual who has excellent
ICT skills, along with good literacy and numeracy skills. You must
be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and have the ability to
work on your own initiative as well as effectively working as part of a
team. Accuracy and attention to detail is crucial, and experience of
minuting meetings is essential. There may be occasions where you are in
contact with professions who have a safeguarding concern for a child and
you must be able to signpost them to ensure to safeguard the
child.
