Are you an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) looking for your next challenge. Then we have just the role for you!  Our Mental Health Social Care Team in
Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale and Selby are looking for THREE Approved Mental Health Professional to join us on a full time, permanent basis.

 

We are looking for an AMHP who will become part of our AMHP team triaging and completing Mental Health Act assessments across the county of North Yorkshire where we can offer a generous package including competitive pay (including a £200/month market supplement), market-leading pension scheme, flexible working practices and the potential of a generous relocation package, as well as discounts for leading retailers as well as a green lease car scheme. As an AMHP working for NYCC you will benefit from being part of a supportive organisation and team where you will have the opportunity to attend a monthly peer supervision, regular AMHP forums and training events through out the course of the year to ensure CPD requirements are met.

You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, and will have the opportunity to work varied hours.

 

As an AMHP you will be working alongside our health and social care colleagues to promote the least restrictive approach to mental health recovery. You will act as a safeguarding enquiry officer, complete Mental Capacity Act Assessments and complete strength based Care Act assessments.
