Hourly rate: £9.43 to £9.81
NYCC are delighted to be working in partnership with Henshaws as their supported living service has transitioned to an in-house service run directly by the county council.
NYCC are extremely pleased to have been given the opportunity to deliver this service and as a result of this transition we are looking to recruit care workers and senior care workers. This is an exciting time to join us with a range of new opportunities available and the chance to be part of something extraordinary.
The service will be delivered around the clock on a 24/7 basis so you will be expected to work a variety of shifts. We have various roles and shifts patterns available including days, evenings, nights, working nights and weekends, so there is something for everyone, whatever your existing commitments might be!
As a key part of our supported living service you will play a vital role in enabling people with a range of complex needs to live more independently. You will help them to engage with their communities and to live meaningful and fulfilled lives where they feel a genuine sense of belonging. There will also be an element of personal care involved where you may be required to help people with washing, dressing and providing medication for example.
We believe that everyone has the right to an independent and fulfilling life and our supported living service will enable people and their families to build skills, develop confidence, help each other and look forward to a positive future.
