Are you looking for a unique opportunity that allows you to make a real and positive difference to the lives of Young Adults? Are you looking for a role that is flexible around you?

As a Support Worker, you will work with families of young adults with disabilities and additional needs. You will support them to live fulfilling and active lives that allow them to achieve their goals and targets. In this role, it really is true what they say, no two days will be the same. You will help the individuals you support engage in fun-filled and engaging activities, provide emotional support to the families, while ensuring that you meet each individual’s needs in a person-centred way.

Furthermore, this amazing opportunity just gets better. Ryedale Special Families understands that the best way to serve the young people that rely on their committed service, is to get caring and committed staff. That is why, Ryedale Special Families are actively encouraging individuals with no experience to apply. For them values mean the most. All they ask for is that you have a driving licence. Both roles will involve moving and handling and the morning role will include complex care, full training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Please note: The successful candidate will need access to their own transport. Driving will be in involved in this role and some areas covered are not accessible by public transport. Ryedale Special Families do also pay travel time and mileage. Experience is preferable but not essential for the post.

Don’t miss out on an exciting opportunity like this. Do something that makes a difference, and make care matter!
