Care Assistant - Somerset House Nursing Home in the beautiful village of Wheldrake, York. Part of The Country Court Family

Hours: 33 hours per week available, working weekends on rota (Shift Time 0700-1900, 3 shifts per week)

Somerset House Care Home offers family-led nursing and residential care in the beautiful Yorkshire village of Wheldrake near York. ABOUT YOU

Our fantastic care assistants are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents. Having those care values is vital to share a happy home:

• Have a friendly & caring attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively, with patience & understanding
• Able to work well with others & be part of a team
• Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
• Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care is a great advantage or be willing to work towards this.
