Location: Homeworking with the expectation to visit County Hall on a weekly basis

Our Service

Here at North Yorkshire County Council our Technology and Change Department plays a vital part in improving and developing services across the whole Council for the benefit of our customers and staff. This means that our department is at the heart of exciting transformational change projects such as service re-design, digital and innovation, working with core public services across North Yorkshire including libraries, transport, health and social care and children’s services.

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Projects and Change Officer to join our team as we prepare to deliver the next phase of transformation in North Yorkshire.

 

As a Projects and Change Officer you will undertake a range of project support activities including collect, collate and analyse data, produce project records, research information and services, contribute to service redesign, and practically contribute to restructure information. You will be required to undertake project activities to assist in the delivery of one or more projects under the day to day direction of one or more project managers, facilitate business change workshops to identify change requirements service areas, and support programmes. You will also be required to run workshops and complete some process mapping. This role is based in the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) who provide oversight to the councils transformation programme.

 

What you will bring?

 

To be successful in this role you will need a business admin background with some knowledge of Project Management. Ideally, you should have some knowledge of Public Sector but we welcome all applications if you meet the above criteria.
