Are you a passionate, enthusiastic, and highly skilled
child-focussed professional with a can do approach?
Are you experienced in working within a registered childcare setting with a
clear understanding of safeguarding practice? Do you have a level 3 Diploma in
Childcare (NVQ3 equivalent) or the willingness to complete our apprenticeship
route equivalent?
We are looking for a full-time staff member to join our committed team at
Morton on Swale CRC. We need effective communicators, who can change the way
they work to engage young people who may not use words to speak. You will need
to demonstrate good recording skills, IT skills and an ability to work within
professional boundaries.
We provide support to children and young people with disabilities by offering
short breaks, shared care and day care to them, and support them to access
local facilities and have adventures. Some young people have complex health
needs. A number of young people we support are affected by Autism and can
display behaviours that challenge.
The role requires staff to work shift work with early mornings, evenings, sleep
ins and waking nights. Full time staff are required to work 26 weekends per
year to meet the needs of the service. Weekends and school holidays are our
busiest times. In return for your commitment to us you will work within a
supportive and child-focussed team, receive regular training, supervision,
appraisal and have lots of fun.
The salary is £20,493- £24,982
