Technology and Change Apprentice (Schools ICT Sales and Development Team)

Salary: £18,097.96 - £18,828.59
Contract: 2 years Apprentice Fixed Term (potential to become permanent).
Location: County Hall – Northallerton – Hybrid Working

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for an apprenticeship to join our ICT Development and Sales Team.
Our team
Schools ICT, is a traded service of North Yorkshire County Council, and are part of the wider Technology & Change Service who work closely with North Yorkshire Education Services as part of NYCC’s commercial services. Over the last 26 years, Schools ICT have built a solid reputation for delivering high quality, customer focused ICT support and development services. Our 54 staff currently provide services to more than 500 educational and commercial customers.
The role
Working under the direction of ICT Development Manager you will be part of the Sales and Development Team, supporting customers and colleagues with ICT, Hardware, Software and License sales requests and orders. Build strong relationships, with colleagues, customers and suppliers and liaise with 3rd party suppliers to ensure a high level of communication and customer satisfaction.
You will join an established team of two Development Support Officers delivering high level customer service with sales requests, quotes, and orders.
What you will bring
You need to be working towards Level 1 Functional skills in English and Maths. Have basic knowledge of PCs, Laptops and hardware and Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook and can input data accurately. Have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to organise and present data.
