In this role you will be the first point of contact for customers. Customers can telephone, web-chat, email or make contact on social media and you will be able to provide a quality response across all of these channels. You will be responsible for receiving and processing all enquiries in line with local and central government requirements. A varied role where no two calls will be same; your day will be very varied. Enquiries could range from reporting of a broken streetlight to someone wishing to access our services on behalf of a family member. Our staff are not only responding to general enquiries but also deal with some very specialist areas of work. To enhance your skills to deal with these calls we offer superb training to enable and encourage career progression into our specific service areas. Based in our County hall offices in Central Northallerton we are in prime location for easy access to local transport links and commuting routes for local Areas such as Darlington, Stockton and Middlesbrough and surrounding rural villages.

The role is hybrid working therefore a mixture of office based working and working from home. There is a requirement for all new recruits to attend induction training at County Hall and all necessary IT equipment will be provided for home working therefore you will need a quiet, safe and secure place to work during your home working hours.
